This Alpha project, Using Gov.UK Verify for Local Authority Multi Service Portals, building on an OIX Discovery project, demonstrates how the use of data collected by local authorities (LAs), made available to identity providers (IDPs),could help otherwise thin-file customers register for a GOV.UK Verify identity.

Joining Open Identity Exchange (OIX) is easy, our fee structure is open and structured to allow participation, whatever your organisation’s size or role in the identity community.

As per the OIX Chapters Policy, members may direct up to 50% of membership fees due to a chapter.  If you are interested in directing funds to OIX UK on joining, please contact us so we can ensure proper facilitation of your request. Click here for Joining Documentation

Our OIX Workshops are held every 2 – 3 months, with the purpose of turning theory into practise, exploring identity topics and ideas that may result in an OIX pilot/project to test real-world scenarios.

You do not need to be a member to attend an OIX UK open Workshop, but membership is preferred if you decide to join a project.

OIX UK will also promote events relevant to identity assurance throughout the year.  These can be run by OIX UK or any other industry partner.  These will be showcased on our events page.

We encourage everyone interested in digital identity assurance to contact us with feedback, comments and questions.  Please contact us and we will be happy to get back to you as soon as possible.

In addition you can follow the latest information and debates on identity on our LinkedIn group and via Twitter.
